Highlights

FCA Urban Atlanta partnered with Cru Ministries to buy out a movie theatre auditorium for Atlanta Public Schools (APS) students to watch the film Woodlawn. Woodlawn is an inspirational football movie based on an incredible true story of racial reconciliation. Seventy-five student-athletes and eleven chaperones attended our movie night. Students came from South Atlanta, Carver, and Washington high schools. It was a great night.

FCA Urban Atlanta celebrates with Andrew Vaskova for making an eternal decision. Vaskova (pictured right) gave his life to Christ on Monday, October 12, 2015 on the ride home from a college visit with Coach Brent Slade (on left) and three other seniors in the FCA Urban Atlanta Baseball league. Vaskova is a 17-year old senior at South Atlanta High School. He joined the FCA Urban Baseball League when he was in middle school. Six year later he proclaimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

The team celebrated his born-again birthday with a cupcake, a "1" candle and a cookie cake to share. Celebrate what God is doing in the city of Atlanta though our ministry.
